After an extensive $90 million renovation in 2015, the Petersen Museum's Vault features over 250 vehicles from around the world. Discover some of the most iconic and rare cars, motorcycles, and trucks spanning over 120 years of automotive history on the largest guided automotive tour in the United States. Exploring vehicles from across the globe, you will be immersed into the history of the automobile, from early legends to stunning modern supercars. You will see turn-of-the-twentieth-century cars, head-of-state cars, American classics, cars belonging to Hollywood legends, award-winning hot rods, cars that pushed the boundaries of innovation, and many other surprises. Before or after your tour, you may enjoy the main museum at your leisure, as general admission is included. Rated by CNN, Octane, and Top Gear as “the world’s greatest automotive museum," the Petersen is an experience that you won't want to miss!

The cost of admission and docent-led Vault Tour is $41 and $39 for Seniors. Space for this program is limited so RSVP as soon as possible before October 18th. Priority is given to dues- paid members.

Note: Carpooling and public transit is encouraged. Convenient onsite parking is available at the museum for $16. Parking for visitors with disabilities is provided on level P1. The parking garage entrance is located on Fairfax Avenue.

Backpacks, photography/videography, and children under 10 are not permitted in the Vault.

For those who wish to eat lunch before the tour, there are many restaurants, including Drago Ristorante,  in and around the Petersen.
